On March 2, 2025, in commemoration of JO1's Ren Kawajiri's birthday,Ren Kawajiri's fan group (fandom) "REN's BACKERS"Wrapping airplane by “JO1 REN’s JET From JAM” It entered service for the first time on February 27, 2025.
When it comes to support advertising in Japan, station posters and street visions are standard, but this is the first "Oshi Wrapping Plane" to be carried out in Japan, and it is attracting a lot of attention.

To celebrate JO1 Ren Kawajiri's 28th birthday on March 2, 2025, the fan group "REN's BACKERS" carried out "Oshi Wrapping" on a Star Flyer jet. This specially designed aircraft “JO1 REN’s JET From JAM (commonly known as Ren-kun Jet)” was made possible by the participation of over 1,500 JAM (the name for JO1 fans).

This wrapped airplane is a special support advertisement that embodies the support of everyone at JAM.

The aircraft has a design that brings out Kawajiri's charm to the fullest, and its presence is overwhelming even from a distance! Everyone at JAM, as well as many other people, were moved by the sight of Oshi dancing in the sky.

Ren's birthday March 2nd - Blessings from JAM are coming one after another

This time's airplane wrapping was one of the most impactful of all the support advertisements we have done thus far.
On the day of his birthday, the fan group "REN's BACKERS" released a special video recording the ride from arrival to takeoff. The BGM for the video was the song "DAYBREAK," which was written, composed, and arranged by Kawajiri, and it made many JAM members excited.

Everyone at JAM who watched the video was impressed!!

Ren-kun's jet moves slowly down the runway under the morning glow.
It's like the world of "DAYBREAK" itself.
Clad in bright orange light, it took off gracefully and powerfully from Kitakyushu Airport, as if to herald the beginning of a new journey.

Q. Why did you choose aircraft wrapping this time?

A. Aircraft wrapping advertisements by fans have already been carried out overseas, and I have always admired them as the pinnacle of support advertisements since my days at Purdu.
In the past, we had considered implementing this at overseas airlines, but at that time it did not come to fruition.
Meanwhile, I learned that Star Flyer and Jeki were going to start an aircraft wrapping advertising service in Japan, and since it coincided with Mr. Kawajiri's birthday, I applied immediately.
Furthermore, Mr. Kawajiri is from Fukuoka Prefecture, and I felt that it was a great connection that Star Flyer, which is headquartered in Kitakyushu, started its first service in Japan.
As Japan's first "Oshi Wrapping Jet", it was a hot topic, and I think it was the best present not only for Mr. Kawajiri himself, but also for JAM, which supports the project.


Q. What kind of thoughts are put into the design?

A. We chose an American retro neon design, keeping in mind the concept of "JO1DER SHOW 'WHEREVER WE ARE'," which is currently on a world tour following last year's domestic tour, and an additional performance at Tokyo Dome has been decided.
By placing Mr. Kawajiri's photo and "REN" and "JO1" in a large size, we hope that it will please Mr. Kawajiri and his fans, and that it will also spark interest among those who do not know Mr. Kawajiri.


Q. How did you feel after the wrapped plane started operating?

A. When we announced the project, many people were surprised and said, ``We never thought it would be possible to make it happen in Japan,'' and we ourselves really thought the same thing.
Therefore, even now that it has come true, I still feel like I am dreaming.
I would be happy if people who saw “JO1 REN’s JET From JAM” at the airport became interested in Mr. Kawajiri and JO1.
Above all, I hope that through this wrapping jet, Mr. Kawajiri will receive a message saying, ``There are so many fans supporting you!'' and that he will be able to celebrate his birthday with a happy feeling.
