What is jeki Cheering AD?
"Cheering AD" is an advertising agency operated by JR East Marketing & Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of the East Japan Railway Company.
We offer a service for those who wish to place fan support advertisements, also known as birthday support ads. Currently, this service is only available in Japanese.
Guidelines for Placing Fan Support Advertisements in Japan
In Japan, advertising cannot be published without obtaining permission from the artist's agency or rights holder.
It is also necessary to obtain permission from the artist agency to use materials such as official images of the artist or photographs taken by fans. Using unlicensed materials constitutes copyright infringement.
We confirm the authorization and material usage with the artist agency or copyright holder on your behalf. We can handle the complex negotiations with the artist's Japanese agencies, so please leave it up to us.
To place an advertisement through Cheering AD, which includes confirmation of the artist agency's permission, please submit your application via the website at least 3 months in advance.
If you have already obtained permission from the artist agency to place the advertisement, you may submit your application up to 2 months in advance. In this case, please note that you will be required to submit documentation, such as email exchanges or screenshots, to verify the permission granted for the advertisement placement.
Please note that depending on the agency's response, it may not be possible to proceed with placing your advertisement or using the desired materials.
About Cheering AD's Services
This is the website where you can apply to place fan support advertisements.
After applying through our website, we will confirm the permission with the artist agency and check the availability of advertisement space. Once payment is received, we'll begin the process of securing your advertisement space.
Please note that advertisement space is sold on a first-come, first-served basis upon completion of payment. Reservations are not accepted, and cancellations are not possible after applying, so please be aware of this policy.
